Mine is "Ennoble," as in, "She ennobles others to be who they truly are." I rediscovered this word in a daily desk calendar's message of the day, after scribbling a phone message on the back. "Ennoble" is a couple letters--and universes--from the emotionally crippled side of "enable," as in, "She enables her husband's passive-aggressive behavior in the name of being an understanding wife." Yes, I have both enabled (which feels ignoble), and ennobled, which feels empowering: "The nobility in me honors the nobility in you." I love how our spiritual nobility flows from one Source, Who creates each of us as a living, breathing, unique and magnificent masterpiece deserving of royal dignity. Experiencing this ennobles me and inspires me to ennoble others. Ennobling rocks. Ennobling raises without putting anyone down. Ennobling ravishes our hearts deeply, "from the inside out." Sir Lancelot I'm not, but I AM ENNOBLED! Yeah, so, that's my newest favorite word. How about yours?
